- 150 gone (23%)
- 147 need a manual look (23%)
- 2,258 backlinks checked in the last 7 days

The problem
1,000 links on a report. How many really count?
Without proof
- Link reports show counts, not proof: removed links, nofollow links and pages set to noindex or blocked still look like backlinks.
- Checking 1,000 linking pages by hand takes days, so most buyers never do it and keep paying for links that pass nothing.
- Links quietly disappear or turn nofollow after you pay. Without backlink tracking you find out months later.
- A new link Google has not indexed does not count yet, and nobody tells you which ones are missing.
With this tool
- Bulk backlink checker: paste up to 500 pages and get Passed, Warning, Failed or Unverified for every link, with the reason.
- Proof you can share: clean CSV, Excel and branded PDF backlink reports for clients, buyers and sellers.
- Backlink monitoring: rescan a project and see links lost, recovered or changed since the last check.
- Backlink index checker and indexer: send only new, indexable links to Google, and see which pages are in Google.
Link buyers
Verify a delivered guest post or paid link is live, dofollow and indexable before you pay or renew.
Link sellers and builders
Prove delivery with a report your client can open, and keep every link you built under watch.
Agencies and freelancers
Run many client projects in one backlink analysis dashboard, with exports per website.

AI search
Backlinks are still the foundation of SEO, AEO and GEO
Do backlinks matter for AI answers?
AI assistants and AI overviews tend to quote pages that search engines already find, trust and rank. Backlinks remain one of the clearest trust signals, so a clean link profile helps you in classic results and in AI answers, the goal of answer engine optimisation (AEO) and generative engine optimisation (GEO).
What changes with AI search?
Volume matters less than proof: links that are live, crawlable, indexed and on relevant sites. That is exactly what this tool checks for every link, every time you rescan.
- Live and indexed, not just listedOnly links Google can see and index build trust.
- Relevant sites, real anchor textAnchor text and target URL checked on every link.
- Steady growth you can measureNew links each month, confirmed by a scan, watched for changes.
The basics
What is backlink analysis?
Backlink analysis is the process of checking the links that point to your website: whether each one is still live, whether it passes ranking value (dofollow or nofollow), and whether search engines can crawl and index the page it sits on. It shows which backlinks actually help your SEO and which ones are lost, devalued or invisible to Google.
How to do a backlink analysis in 4 steps
- Collect. Export the linking pages from Google Search Console (Links, Latest links), your link-building reports or a client list.
- Paste. Create a project and paste up to 500 backlink URLs per scan (100 free). Duplicates and invalid lines are removed.
- Read. Every URL gets Passed, Warning, Failed or Unverified, with the reason, so checking backlinks takes minutes, not days.
- Act. Index new links (Search Console links are already known to Google), chase lost or nofollow links, rescan later.

FAQ
Backlink analysis FAQ
What is a backlink analysis tool?
A backlink analysis tool checks the pages that link to your site and reports what each link is worth. Our tool opens every backlink URL you give it and confirms that your link is on the page, whether it is dofollow, and whether Google is allowed to crawl and index that page, so you know which links really count.
Is this backlink analysis tool free?
It is freemium backlink analysis software: you start free and pay only if you need more, so it also works as a free backlink checker. The free plan includes 1 project and 100 backlink checks, with exports to CSV, Excel or PDF, and no credit card. For bulk backlink checks, the Pro plan gives you 20 projects and 5,000 backlink checks every 30 days.
How much does the Pro plan cost?
Pro costs ₹1,500 (or $18 USD via PayPal) for 30 days, with 20 projects, 5,000 backlink checks and up to 500 URLs per scan. It also includes 100 Google indexing credits, 200 DA / PA / Spam Score lookups and, where the indexing service in use offers it, a Google index check. It does not renew automatically. When it ends, your projects and results stay available to view and export.
How do I check if a backlink is dofollow or nofollow?
Paste the page that links to you. The tool finds your link and reads its rel attribute: nofollow, sponsored and ugc mean the link does not pass ranking value. It also checks the page-level robots meta tag, because a page set to nofollow devalues every link on it, even links without a rel attribute.
Why is my backlink not indexed?
The most common reasons are a noindex robots meta tag, a noindex X-Robots-Tag HTTP header, a robots.txt rule that blocks Googlebot, or a canonical tag that points to a different page. Each backlink check reports all four, so you can see exactly why a linking page cannot be indexed.
Can it find any website's backlinks, or my competitors' backlinks?
It does not crawl the web like a backlink research or backlink search tool, so it cannot tell you how many backlinks a website has in total. It verifies backlinks you already know about: export your links from the Links report in Google Search Console and paste the linking pages here to see which of them still count. For new link ideas, the Pro add-on Link Opportunities shows sites where other websites checked on our platform got live backlinks that your site does not have yet, with the real link page. It never shows which websites those are.
What is the difference between a backlink checker and backlink analysis?
A basic backlink checker only confirms that a link exists. Backlink analysis also asks whether the link helps: is it dofollow, can the page be crawled and indexed, does the canonical point to that page, and does the page load. A link that exists but fails those checks passes little or no value.
How do I find lost backlinks?
Scan the same project again later. The tool compares the new scan with the previous one and lists what changed: links that were lost or came back, dofollow links that became nofollow, and changes to anchor text, redirects, canonical and robots tags.
Which backlinks should I submit for indexing?
Only the ones that can be indexed and are not in Google yet: the link is present (any type) and the page is crawlable and indexable. Links listed in your Google Search Console links report are already known to Google, so send only new links you build. Sending pages that are noindex, blocked, redirected or canonicalised elsewhere wastes indexing requests, so the tool only sends links on pages Google is allowed to index, whatever the link type; dofollow links go first. When a Google index check is available for the indexing service in use, links Google already has are left out first and cost no credit.
Can this tool send my backlinks to Google indexing?
Yes, with the Pro plan. From any scan result, or for a whole project at once, send the indexable links to Google indexing in two clicks: links of any type on pages with no noindex, allowed by robots.txt and with a self canonical. The WEB HOST PUNE Indexer works with several indexing services and uses the one with the best results for each request; every link goes to one service only, never twice. Depending on the service, results come within about 10 minutes or after up to 7 days. One credit is used per link sent. Pro includes 100 indexing credits every 30 days, and Pro users can buy more. Indexing is decided by Google and is not guaranteed, and Google may later drop indexed pages after its quality checks.
Does it show Domain Authority (DA), Page Authority (PA) and Spam Score?
Yes, with the Pro plan. One click adds Moz Domain Authority, Page Authority and Spam Score to every backlink found in a scan, so you see not only which links work but also which ones come from strong, clean sites. Pro includes 200 lookups every 30 days; a link looked up in the last 30 days costs no lookup. The values come from Moz and are shown in the results and in every export.
How can I check my backlinks for free?
Create a free account, add a project for your website and paste the pages that link to you, up to 100 per scan. The free plan includes 100 backlink checks: each link is checked for being live, its link type, anchor text, HTTP status and whether Google can index the page, and you can export the results.
How do I check backlinks in Google Search Console (Webmaster Tools)?
In Google Search Console (formerly Webmaster Tools), open Links in the menu and use Export external links, then Latest links. That is how to check backlinks with Google Webmaster Tools: the backlinks report lists the pages that link to you, but not whether each link is still live, dofollow or indexable. Paste those linking pages into a project here to check every one of them; together they work as a Google backlink checker.
Can I test a single backlink?
Yes. Paste one URL to test a backlink and verify it in seconds (or paste many to verify backlinks in bulk): the link, its type and anchor text, and whether Google can index the page. Each URL uses one backlink check, so the free plan covers 100 single tests or a few bulk scans.
How do I find bad backlinks?
Run a backlinks health check on your link list. Bad backlinks show up as missing links, pages set to noindex or blocked by robots.txt, canonicals pointing elsewhere, broken or redirected pages and, with Pro, sites with a high Moz Spam Score. Filter the results by status to see them all at once.
Can I watch my backlinks for changes?
Yes. Scan the same project again at any time and the tool compares it with the previous scan: lost and recovered links, dofollow links that became nofollow, and changes to anchor text, redirects, canonical and robots tags.
How do I find new backlink opportunities?
Use Link Opportunities, an add-on for the Pro plan (₹999 or $12 for 30 days). Pick your website and you get 200 sites where other websites got live backlinks and yours has none yet, best first, with the real link page, the kind of site (directory, profile, article site, bookmark and more), DA, dofollow and Google status. Opportunities come from public pages found by real scans on our platform; we cannot guarantee that a link can be built on every site.
What is a backlink gap analysis?
A backlink gap (or link gap) is the list of sites that link to other websites but not to yours: places where a link is possible but you are missing. Link Opportunities works this out for your website from live, passed links found by scans on our platform, and leaves out every site that already links to you, so you do not build the same link twice. It also lists your links that are gone (rebuild first) and your link pages that are not in Google yet.
How does the monthly batch of link opportunities work?
Every 30 days you get 200 sites, shared by all your websites, with education and government sites first. Build links on them, add those pages to your project and rescan: when your scan finds the link, the site counts as built. Next month the sites you have not built yet stay, and every built site is replaced with a new one, so you always work on a focused list. If your Pro plan ends while add-on days are left, those days are kept until you renew.
Can I export all backlinks of one website in one file?
Yes, with the Pro plan. Export by domain combines every project and scan of a website into one CSV or Excel file, either as unique pages with their latest check or as every check, with link type, anchor text, status, DA and Google index status.
Do I need a PHP backlink checker script?
No. This is an online backlink checker, so there is no PHP backlink checker code, backlinks checker script or browser extension to install, host or keep updated, and checks run on our servers with a proper crawler. If you want the data in your own tools, export any scan to CSV or Excel.
Do backlinks still matter for AI search (AEO and GEO)?
Yes. AI assistants and AI overviews tend to quote pages that search engines already find, trust and rank, and backlinks remain one of the clearest trust signals. For answer engine optimisation (AEO) and generative engine optimisation (GEO) the number of links matters less than proof: links that are live, crawlable, indexed and on relevant sites. That is what this tool checks for every link, and rescans show when that changes.
Is there a backlink checker API?
Not yet. We do not offer a public backlink checker API or bulk backlink analysis API today. For bulk work, paste up to 500 URLs per scan on Pro and export the results, or every scan of one website, to CSV or Excel for your own reports and tools.
Does it work as a WordPress backlink checker and anchor text analyzer?
Yes. It checks the linking pages, so it works for WordPress and any other website without a plugin. For each link it shows the anchor text, the exact href and target URL, and the link type, so you can see whether the link says and points where it was agreed.
